Grønninghoved is in an attractive area of
Jutland, only a short distance from many popular destinations. At walking distance from the
site, you will find Skamlingsbanken, which plays host to one of our country's largest and most moving opera
concerts, amongst other things.
Christiansfeld is included in the EU list of towns worthy of
preservation, because of its unique structure. In Haderslev
the Cathedral is a must-see, and don't miss the tour
(on foot) through the narrow streets with their beautifully renovated crooked houses. Then a sailing trip with the paddle steamer ”Helene” will take you out of Haderslev Fjord as far as Årø.
The ancient kings' town of Kolding is today a modern shopping town with a lively and pleasant centre. Here you will find Koldinghus
castle, the art museum ”Trapholt”, ”Den geografiske Have”
(the geographical garden) and many other tourist
attractions. Kolding is also the place to visit for Denmark's largest shopping centre: ”Kolding Storcenter”.
